Welcome to Wyvern Mountain! We are the Amtgard Freehold of Klamath Falls, Oregon at Mills-Kiwanis Park.nnOnce a small mining village at the foot of the Matterhorn; its history books told that many generations ago, when the village was first settled, it was set upon by a horde of Wyverns. For the next several centuries an order of valiant Wyvern Slayers arose from within the populace to protect the village and the mines from the constant onslaught of the Wyverns. nnAt some point more than a century ago, without cause or warning, the Wyverns disappeared. In the time since, the village and the mine had flourished. But the Wyverns of legend returned, flying down the steep slopes of the Matterhorn. nnA new generation of Wyvern Slayers arose in defense of their homeland; and fell before the onslaught of the Wyvern Riders from within the mountain. Though the Wyvern's numbers had dwindled over time, their new alliance with the other deep races of Dwarves, Gnomes, and Elves proved powerful enough to claim the lands of Wyvern Mountain. This new coalition soon found themselves defending their new realm from groups of adventurers who traveled from far and wide to answer the call for help put out by the survivors of the Wyvern Mountain mining village.n
