Daily themed battlegames inside a mine themed battlefield!
A Goblin Market full of trinkets and wares!
First come first serve Cabins of summer camp quality!
Three rentable powered cabins with beds and futons for a considerable upcharge!
One feast and free food every day from the Dwarven Grill!
The campsite is about a 30 minute drive outside of Eugene, OR which has Amtrak and Greyhound stations, public transit can get you within a five minute drive from the site. There is food and a Grocery Outlet about a five minute drive away and a Walmart about 20 minutes down the road. While there will be one official feast there are also places to prepare your own food. There will be a self serve selection of soups, instant noodles, hot drinks and oatmeal available free of charge in the cooking area, along with a grill providing free (if not random) meats all weekend long next to the fighting field.
Feast will be burgers, salad and chips. There will be available additional toppings, snacks, deserts and vegetarian options as well. When prepay opens please note if you are vegetarian, if you don't prepay please inform us at the gate when you check in.
The non-powered cabins are first come first serve and are summer camp style with bunk beds. They are fairly rudimentary and while they will keep you dry they may not keep you warm as they are not really well insulated.
The restrictions on drinking, smoking and quiet hours remain the same as last year. Please smoke tobacco of any kind away from crowds and children and pick up your own butts. Any other kind of smoking needs to happen in a tent where I or the security team can't see you. You must drink responsibly, if you have a drink you cannot leave site or drive, if you drink and drive you will be booted from the event. The quiet time begins at 10PM and is in effect for anywhere there is camping, cabins or mundanes working on site, if you need to be loud or to spar there are parts of the grounds that are far away from these places.
Be aware of the mud! It is March in Oregon, this is a muddy time of year and the roads in the campground are not paved. Be aware of your cars ability to drive if you stray from the parking areas and please bring many changes of clothing and socks because you'll probably get damp at some point. The roads on site can be narrow so please follow the posted speed limits and try to limit car use as much as possible to retain the integrity of the roads.
In the coming weeks we will post more information about the schedule, ticket prices, theme and volunteer opportunities. We need a few clarifications from the site but expect general camping to be around $60 and day use to be around $20.
