Description: We are the Brotherhood of the Black Oak, we stand strong like the Black Oak and when we battle we come down upon our opponents like leaves in the autumn. Sticking to the basic shield and sword or double swords we work hard with the simple to make it great to further ourselves and our skills. We shall be making our first appearance at Rakis of 2010 and hopefully make some thunder or leave an impact on a few people. Our flag is burgundy with four black diamonds arranged in one big diamond. Yes it is a simple sign but it is easy to remember especially to our vanquished enemies upon whence we next meet. With this Rakis of 2010 fast approaching, we are readying ourselves for the excitement and call of the battlefield that is our home. Captain Black Oak always says, we maybe young and inexperienced but we are talented and gaining skill quickly. Also from Captain Black Oak stems the motto, “A warrior knows his limits and can see when victory cannot be obtained, but a true warrior deserving of the title of a Black Oak Brother pushes past those limits and when faced with certain defeat they tell Mr. Obvious to shut up and they keep fighting towards either victory or glorious death!” So reader, keep this in mind, if you are going to 2010 Rakis in The Kingdom of Iron Mountain watch for our flag. Our flag will be a sign to you, if we are ditching you will be glad to see our flag on the allied side and you will hate it whenever its not. All opinions and experience facts aside, we maybe indeed a small company this is true, but we can turn the tide in battle to our allies favor.
History: We were formed April 23, 2010 a group of friends who one day were the only ones who came to amtgard and none of us being at level two yet in anything. We decided that why not learn and grow together as a team and as a brotherhood it was this thought that gave birth to the idea. Later in the same day after the idea took shape a tournament followed later that day to decide who our captain should be and Poc came out the victor taking on the alias Captain Black Oak.
