Description: House Starstrider is a Household founded in the Kingdom of The Northern Lights with the focus of improving the Amtgard experience with actions including but not limited to: Helping to bring a larger Roleplay presence to our favorite hobby, Cleaning up the park, making a point to volunteer at events for set up and helping new players practice the basics of combat including the unspoken respect-based guidlines most players follow.
History: House Starstrider was founded by the first ancestor of the Noble family, who bore the House name as a title and is the only surviving name that can be attributed to the individual. The year of the foundation is currently unknown, taking place some time near the end of the Age of Heroes in the continent of B'Daeo, estimated to be more than two thousand years prior to the current era. Since it's formation the family who elevated the heraldic title to become a political House have bound themselves to the House words, "For Honor and Family" with more dedication than any Gods, new or old. The House has seen many historical figures including King Gaelrune Starstrider, who fought in the Seven Wars of Old and the first King in the North, Lady Aralia Starstrider, who brought the first spring farms to fruition enabling those who live in Talonspire, the province of which House Starstrider rules, to farm property in the frigid climate, Lord Beyron Starstrider who built the Many Spined Keeps including Greystone Keep, that protect Talonspire from it's wild borders, Lord Graston Starstrider who rebuilt the House from it's near extinction in the Wolves-Well-Fed rule of the Aathron Empire. It is said that House Starstrider has had Lords who have ridden Dragons of the sky, sailed deep into the sea and danced with Elves of the east. The House is currently lead by Tethys ''Red'' Starstrider which he inherited after the death of his Father, Lord Arthur Starstrider while his twin brother, the current Lord of Talonspire, Lord Blake "The Black" Starstrider heads the state in B'Daeo.
