Description: More than a household the Masque of the Veiled Path is a guild and troupe that focuses on involvement in the infrastructure of Amtgard as well as a full involved respect for any form of role-playing. We come to the aid of those that want to see change in a positive way for the entire game. Members are expected to run for local or imperial level offices a minimum of once every 2 years to help support the infrastructure of the group they are a part of. In addition to holding office the Troupe members are encouraged to aid in any form of quest or game that promotes role-playing to help enhance the experience of the LARP for everyone in attendance. There are only 3 tiers of membership: Applicants, Guild members, and Guild Leader. The group makes all decisions by a majority rule with the Guild Leader only breaking ties. Applicants are on a trial basis to make sure that they fit in well with the ideals of the group. All applicants are required to have their own garb and weapons, be a dues paid member, be Reeve & Corpora certified, as well as having held at least 1 local level office prior to applying. The probation period of applicants is 6 months after which the guild members vote. All members are required to wear a belt favor with the guild insignia.
History: Founded in the spring of 2015 the Masque of the Veiled Path was an answer to a question, and that question was “how do you help change happen in a positive way?”
