We are to put quite simply; "The underground" every scumbag thief, soldier for hire, ravenous pirate, and bloodlusting assassin joins Talon & Co. Our laws and rules are simple and very black and white, and if gray areas are found we will take pride in you for seeking them, but we will fill the gap eventually. We work in collaboration with the Assassin's Guild but have our own set of rules. Therefore we assist the guild and they assist us. This unsteady and rather new alliance is held together by the communications between the council and an undisclosed member of the Assassins. Talon & Co. Tenets; I.To serve the Kingdom for better or worse as long as we recieve pay II.To serve the chapter socially, economically, and proudly. III.To serve ourselves and other guild members above all else. IV.To never take a contract without a Shadow's permission V.To never harm anyone outside my contract without special permission from the Shadow, Talon Master, and Scholar. VI. Talon & Co. will always be run by the Talon Council, which consists of three members; the Talon Master/Matron, the Shadow, and the Scholar. No one person can take more than one of these positions. VII.All elections for the council are every three months. VIII.The job of a Talon Master/Matron is to prepare events, meetings, feasts, etc. to exercise all combat readiness, weapon forging, armor crafts, and to lead the household in the public light. How they do this is up to them as long as they do not violate the tenets IX.The job of a Shadow is to organize contracts, missions, and targets of interest. The Shadow organizes the pay of contracts on a 75/25 split. The half that is paid to the guild is stored with the scholar. All shadows must prove themselves worthy in the ways of stealth, murder, and thievery. X. The job of a Scholar is to do the official work, documentation, and study of strategies. This person handles the group finances, trains the members in group and individual tactics, and introduces important cultural and social things to the guild when needed. XI. The Talon Council is guarded by an elite group called TEA (Talon Enforcement Agency). And to become said Agent, one must undergo a series of tests from all three council members, current TEA Agents must approve you unanimously and one must fight everyone in the guild. After their trials, they must be voted in unanimously by the council. As a member of TEA, you have a right to vote twice in elections towards council members and recieve occassional rewards. XII. All bylaws are to be created and presented officially before the guild and accepted by a 2/3 vote in favor of said rule by the council after a probationary period of a month in which they decide based on guild reaction and position on the matter. XIII.None of these bylaws are to be shortened or abridged for any personal gain or achievment unbefitting of said benefactor. XIV. No member shall betray his/her own superiors on pain of execution or exile. XV. All members are sworn to a code of silence, Molchanie, which forbids them to speak in plain tongue of missions, past missions, or any to come when in public view. XVI. All sub-Groups are to be discussed about and presented to the Talon Council and approved unanimously. these groups may be of many categories such as monetarial, cultural, craftsmanship, politics, etc. XVII. Any one member who has a quarrel with another may open an assassination contract on them, but they are not allowed to do so without approval from two council members. Otherwise the contract is void and is therefore illegal. XVIII. All men and women of the company are required though initiation to take a free contract at a moments notice if required. XIX. No children, animals, or human beings with severe disabilities may be targets. We are all scum and we know it, but our code of honor will not support such atrocities. XX. Nobody talks about Fight Club. XXI.When a shadow approves a contract, the contract is brought to the scholar and all members of the Talon Council will decide upon whom to send on a contract mission. XXII.All members wishing to "cut out" of the guild are to remain silent in activities former or prior to their membership and we will guaruntee complete safety from contracts and immunity from thus further conflict. but in order to do so, one must have been involved with the guild for six months or more. XXIII.If one has invented some new way to revolutionize our trades, they are to be rewarded if the idea or item is given to the guild. XXIV.If one is discovered and/or imprisoned during a mission, we will cut all ties to you for a period of time for reasons, but this does not mean we will not help you. After all, thats what spies are for. XXV. All contracts are to be brought to any known member to be brought to his superiors
History:
Dmitri Petrovinski emerged into the world of amtgard by escaping a horde of relentless, bloodthirsty vampires, all of which plagued the world he lived in. He was many of the few his people called; Okhotnika Na Vampirov, or vampire hunter. And from his skills as a hunter of lost souls, he fought his way through relentless forests, barren deserts, and brutal arctic wastelands. Once stumbling into the realm of King's Point, he was encountered by friend and foe, and made it his home. Years later, he assembles a group of his closest comrades and places them into what is now known as Talon & Co. Though as the founder he has a voice, the council holds the true power and makes decisions in almost unanimous force.
