Past event of summer coronation. (Also a test of ork capability of making an event retroactively to add credits)

Team Tactics is going to be a little different this year. As some of you know by now, my design principle has been, from the start, that you - yes, you, specifically - should be able to do what you love about Amtgard as much as you can throughout the event, and to have that be a meaningful contribution to your Warband. That’s all well and good - I love that sentiment, personally - but what does it mean?

As the event begins, your Warband will be small, and you will not be known to the strange lands where our event takes place. Throughout the course of the event, your Warband will grow, and absorb other small Warbands, gaining Renown (points) for your involvement in as many aspects of the game as our design can quantify. This Renown will allow your Warband to lay claim to powerful items, and loot will be granted from our Crat Team for exemplary performance in those activities. Simply put, the most Renowned Warband will take control of the Realm, claiming absolute victory.

Another vital factor - because this event is about us - our community, and what we do as a community - you will have the opportunity to book time to run *your* quests, *your* games, sing *your* songs, teach *your* skills, as well as to take part in scheduled activities presented by our crat team.

Your event, as much your way as we can make it.

But wait - does this interfere with the inevitable victory of my glorious Warband? Not. One. Bit. Volunteering, from NPCing, to QMing, to Reeving, to Feast Help - all these activities also award Renown to your Warband, and even the occasional Loot Drop.

Also, another feature I’m quite happy about - this Team Tactics will have two Noob-o-Crats - players who will be coordinating activities to show our games and our culture to new players.
