| It's that time again Burning Lands!! Dragon Master is just over the horizon so get those entries ready! Gate fees- age 15+ $10, Age 4 to 14 $5 Gate opens at Noon. DM sign up will end at 12:45pm. Judging will begin at 1pm. We will also have a Joan of Arc weapons tourney starting at 1pm. Winners will be announced at the feast following the tourney. Dragon Master will be a minimum of 6 entries in 6 separate categories to qualify for the title. Categories are as follows: 1. Garb a. Court or Battle field: tunics, dresses, cloaks, pants, hoods, coats b. garb accessories: belts, belt favors, crowns, bracers, etc. 2. Construction a. Active: Weapons, shields, Armor- - Items that can be used on the battle field b. Passive: Banners, thrones, decorative weapons - - Items that can NOT be used on the battle field 3. Art a. 2D: Paintings, drawings, photography b. 3D: sculptures, painted miniatures, figurines, statues, carvings 4. Cooking/Baking a. Appetizers b. Entree c. Desserts 5. Bardic a. Singing: original songs or cover songs b. Instrumental: guitars, drums, flutes c. Oratory: story telling, theatrical acts, speeches 6. Writing- - can be poetry, short stories, instructional narratives, lyrics, persona background stories a. Factual: real/mundane/things that really happened b. Fiction: anything fantasy 7. Rose Any rose entries are for the betterment of Amtgard within the Burning Lands Kingdom parks. These entries are meant to be donated to the parks for use in play. Examples would be creating Relics, battle game props, Court decorations (not banners) or thrones, and scroll templates. |
