Description: The Free Company of Tir na nOg is a cross game order of fighters, crafters and storytellers.

History: Founded by wayward members of the University of Oregon Medieval Combat Society the Free Company of Tir na nOg (also known as the Emerald Company) is the Amtgard arm of a cross game organization that seeks to encourage mutual aid, support and an increase in skill. Although founded by a specific core group membership is open to any who wish to join and espouse the companies beliefs in travel, woodcraft, self reliance, mutual aid, storytelling, combat and lowering the cost of entry to LARP.
