Description: The Painted Valkyries are an all-female company that attempts to create a pleasant experience by providing a very friendly battle atmosphere. As a company, we are very focused on overall enjoyment of the game, as well as devotion and teamwork. All levels of skill are welcome. Painted Valkyrie Membership Requirements: - Members must have a great love for the game. - All members must be courteous, especially to other Company members. - All women looking to join MUST not be part of another company. If they are when they ask to join, they will be discounted immediately. There are 6 ranks in the Painted Valkyries: Captain is the leader of the Company. Commander is for those members who have proven themselves above and beyond what is expected. Lt. Commander is for those who have shown extreme dedication to the company, and who have proven themselves as Field Captain. Lieutenant is for those who have shown excellence on the field. Cadet is for those who are just starting to work within the company. Standard Bearer is for those who wish to be part of the company, but fight or attend infrequently. (Note: The rank of "Standard Bearer" can also be a NON-COMBATANT position.)

History: The Painted Valkyries were formed in the Shire of Ravenwing in September of 2006, after it came to the attention of the Company's founder, Shalingh, that the women of Ravenwing tended to fight together to their mutual advantage. General Guidelines for Painted Valkyries: 1. Democracy is an integral part of this company. All issues must be addressed and settled promptly. 2. The Field Captain will usually decide on battle tactics. 3. This company is about enjoying yourself, and creating functional teams. Wherever possible, keep personal feelings out of the company. 4. This company is not a stepping stone to bigger, more well known companies, so do not join only to avoid fighting with a militia.
