Description: The Davion Blood Heirs is a household made up of half-blood dragons who learn to harness their inner beast to overcome stupendous odds in battle. There are three stages of dragonhood within the household: Poison, Fire, and finally the superbly strong Frost; each representing a different aspect of what the house recognizes as founding characteristics embodied in a dragon: Purity in your actions, Dedication to your visions, and Confidence in your abilities. When you join the house, you are a plebeian whelp. In order to advance and grow into a true dragon and advance, you must complete tasks which, often times, the rest of the family shares in the glorious memories. Becoming a poison dragon represents the first step, which is purifying your blood and embracing your true, uninhibited nature, and is symbolized through the Trial of Sins (taking "seven deadly shots" in a single sitting). You will receive the title and a belt favor upon completion of this trial and upon participating in at least one battle game as a level 2 Dragon Half-Blood monster. Advancing to a fire dragon represents igniting the flame of ambition in your soul and focusing on a glorious accomplishment, and is symbolized through the Trial of Dedication (receiving an Order award in some aspect of Amtgard). You will receive the title and a belt favor upon completion of this trial and upon participating in at least one battle game as a level 4 Dragon Half-Blood monster. Finally, growing into a fully fledged and mighty frost dragon represents crystallizing your heart, becoming immune to doubt and insecurity, and is symbolized through the Trial of Frozen Wastes (attending a household camp-out in the winter months and sleeping in less than 30 degree Fahrenheit weather). You must complete the trial and participate in at least one battle game as a level 6 Dragon Half-Blood monster. Upon reaching this final rank, you are awarded the title, belt favor, and a tankard with the family symbol and nameplate to enjoy future family adventures and events with.
