Description: Ever since the dawn of time the greatest of warriors have always lived on in some form or another, be it legend or historical fact. The Band of the Red Hand is descended from such heroes of old. Deriving their name from the nonfictional historical document "The Wheel of Time", written by the time travelling scholar Robert Jordan, they live on in Amtgard as the perfect heroes who come to curbstomp the forces of evil and save the day.

History: December 2010- At WL Endreign XXIV The Band of the Red Hand was given both the Order of the Flame by King Zach, and the Typhoon by Prince Thalen. These two reign specific awards have not been received simultaneously by any other group in Wetlands history.\r\n\r\nDuring Wetlands Reign XXX, The Band of the Red Hand acted as royal guard for King Thalen. They brought home the Sword of Flame from Relic quest.\r\n\r\nDuring WL Reign XXXI, The Band of the Red Hand supplied two of their number to serve in the Guard of The Jaguar King Juju after a solid defeat of former King Thalen\'s forces \r\n\r\n7-9-2011 - At WL Relic Quest XXXI, The Band of the Red Hand claimed all 5 relics available to players, giving one to the Raiders for their assistance in a tough spot.\r\n\r\n2-25-12 - At WL Relic Quest XXXII, The Band of the Red Hand took home 3 out of 6 possible relics. \r\n\r\n8-19-12 - During WL RQ XXXII, The Band of the Red Hand (in their fortress with operating drawbridge) were the last to fall prey to the zombie hoards. They also took home a relic or two, its hard to remember all of the Relic Quest.\r\n\r\n1-26-13 - At WL Relic Quest XXXIV, The Band of the Red Hand won 6 out of 8 possible relics.\r\n\r\n2-22-13 - The Band of the Red Hand ran their first event (WL Midreign XXXIV). It was a success except for Feast, but that problem was later addressed. \r\n\r\n
