Description: The Sword Dancers are a company specializing in the art and use of the sword. It is a company designed for the true swordsman in Amtgard. Meetings are designed to learn techniques, arts & sciences that apply to the use of the sword. The aim is to be the best blademaster you can be, and to pass what you have learned to others. The structure of the Sword Dancer company allows for a massive army that could possibly span across many chapters, should the numbers be supplied.

History: Sword Dancers were founded around the turn of the new millenium, as an enactment of a military structure concept and specialty designed for a world building project. It's members few for many years as a small role-playing group. It's Official Foundation began in Mid 2006 with the arrival of the Golden Empire chapter in Northern California.
